Ride height. - 11-03-2008, 02:04 AM

Does anyone happen to know or could someone measure their ride height for a 16V with stock springs. I'm assuming most were delivered with #3 spring shims. Anyone running a 16V on stock springs with a #1 shim? Curious as to the look and ride height.

'If' I recall correctly, I believe mine was approximately 25.25" to the bottom of the fender flare?

I'm trying to get my suspension sorted out. It was down to 23.25" which was causing too much rubbing issues and a 1.5 negative camber on the front. I've got it up to 23.75' with a #4 shim, but I'm still running a bit of negative. It has a bit of rake, and while it looks nice, its really messes with the overall balance and handling.

Any input is appreciated.

When was the last time you replaced your shocks? When i put new shocks on my 16v it made my car higher.

Thinking about converting to a normal 2.3-16V Bodykit.
