Tony left Bekkers some months back, so there is no "forum" pricing at the time, :(

All W124 swarbars are longer than the W201 bars.

W124 Sportline bar is IN! - 08-01-2003, 11:24 PM

And it feels pretty good. There's a noticible reduction in body roll, but not a HUGE one. I need to get a larger rear bar now (can you say EvoII? :D)

The only problem is that it's rubbing on the left at full right lock. gonna have to break out the mexican speed wrench (aka BIIIIIG hammer) and slide it over a bit more.

I'm also replacing all the mounting nuts and bolts while i'm at it. :)

yvrbenz,

do you notice a large increase in oversteer with your new front bar?

edit: i just noticed that this post asked said oversteer, when understeer would be what makes sense for a larger front bar. oops.

The opposite, actually. I'm noticing a greater tendency to understeer.

Oversteer is induced by increasing the spring rate or sway bar size at the rear. Conversely, understeer is induced by increasing the spring rate or sway bar size in the front.

So I'll probably get closer to neutral once i get a larger rear sway bar and if i pitch the SLS in favor of stiffer conventional springs and shocks in the rear.
