Great sum-up Pawsh, thanks! :) Unfortunately the seller didn't want to ship to Norway, so I had it sent to Steve in the Netherlands. I hope to pick them up late April and will confirm/argue your findings then :)

I find it strange that the Sportlines have smaller rear swaybars than the non-Sportlines, but I gather this is to maintain the factory understeering?

Here's a pic of the ones I bought:

Just did a measurement on my 2.6 front swaybar...25.4mm (it was a quick measurement so the 25.4 mm. reading probably included some dirt/scale build up, and did not represent the true bar diameter which is most likely 25 mm.)after the curve..outside the bushing....and 18 mm on the stepped ends...(actually got 18.16mm including some dirt...so I assume 18 mm would be correct)

Hello,
well i have a "suposed" evo2 rear sway bar ... but the part number is this

A210 326 36 65 and the EVOII sway bar that i've read on the forum was A210 326 37 65 ...

so ... what part number is this, the 326 36 65 ?

Other thing, with E500 sway bar on the front ... you get more oversteer or understeer?

I'm also searching for 190 2.5TD sway bar, anyone knows what's the diameter?

Pedro,

first off all, it's A201 and NOT A210 :)
A201 326 37 65 is the rear sway bar for EVO / EVO II
A201 326 33 65 is the rear sway bar for all other 16V

A201 326 36 65 is the sway bar for 201.018 .023 .024 .122 .126 this is 190E 1.8, 190E, 190E 2.3 and 190D, 190D 2.5

All 16V have the same front sway bar A201 323 78 65

Thicker sway bar in front will lead to more understeer.

So the 500E front sway bar will equalize the oversteer, forced by the EVO rear sway bar in a 190 that has NOT the EVO suspension.

cheers,
Christian

has anyone seen there front sway bar brackets ripped off with the 500e bar up front. I had my stock bar pulled off by the stock 16v front bar. I am unsure if I should add my front 500e bar up there.

I'm not sure if i should or not , the E500 front sway bar ...
Is the 2.5TD front swaybar thicker than the Evo's?

Are the Eibach swaybar still available? Were they only made for the 2.3?

it was cheaper, for me atleast. the w201 sportline swaybar is more than an E500 swaybar (not by much though).

Slightly tuned 84 190E 2.3 8v 5spd, Sebring/AMG header, custom exhaust, DTM can
Flex-a-lite Electric Fan instead of Clutch Fan, 230 BHP M102.961 AMG
BBS body kit, AMG duktail , Hella lights around.
E320 brakes, Troutman drilled rotors, C230 EVO 17" Rims (225/45/17), Billie Sports (plus some of MRP's toys) and Sachs Performance Springs
Sony MD with Rockford HPC 2204 4" in frt, Sony Xplod 4 way 6X9" in rear
newly added to the stable 83 Weiß 2.3, 85 Astral 500SEL

cheaper to just shoe horn in a MB V6 or V8 instead of a Mosselman Turbo kit to create the ultimate Rice Eater out of a Kraut Can

Since when? Here at Mercedes Benz of San Diego or MB of Escondido you can call up with the evo II sway bar part # and come pick it up in a few days...nobody cares about checking for a vin number before they sell it to you, at least not here in SD, people have work to do.
