it fits quite well....except i get some rubbing between the tire and the bar on the driver's side when i get close to full lock. i'm also running with 225 tires up front so anyone with 215s or narrower probably won't get any rubbing.

I haven't tried the rear bar, but I doubt it would fit in a W201. a W124 is considerably wider and i imagine that the rear swaybar would be too wide. as it is, the front had to be narrowed by ~1".

The options for rear bars shown here are only for W124s - Has anyone tried them on a W201??

How thick is a 16V/Sportline/2.6 bar then?

So far it seems to me that the only available option for the rear here is the EVOII one?

Noone?

I definitely need to do something to my swaybars if I want to continue doing well in Autocrossing - my car leans far too much as it is! I think I need stiffer shocks as well though...

Makes the people who've been spending hundreds of $$$ on evo bars wish they weren't so quick with the "bid" button

They go for a lot more on eBay, then they are forsale from the dealer.

****,
Thank you for shopping EAS! That sway bar is a dealer item and not one that we can offer for a decent price. I show an MSRP of $103.00 through the dealer.Thank you,

FRONT SWAY BAR IN 16V - 11-11-2004, 12:42 PM

The opposite, actually. I'm noticing a greater tendency to understeer.

Oversteer is induced by increasing the spring rate or sway bar size at the rear. Conversely, understeer is induced by increasing the spring rate or sway bar size in the front.

So I'll probably get closer to neutral once i get a larger rear sway bar and if i pitch the SLS in favor of stiffer conventional springs and shocks in the rear.

HELLO YVRBENZ:
WHAT SIZE IS YOUR FRONT SWAY BAR? HAVE YOU INSTALLED YOUR EVO II REAR 18MM BAR YET? IF SO, DOES YOUR CAR HANDLE MORE NEUTRAL NOW? THANKS :)

What swaybar gives you the best bang for the buck? What size is a stock 2.6 one?
