Your engine is f'ing beautiful Holset. Do you have any more pics from the build? Is 386 hp at the wheels or the crank? A dyno print out would be cool to look at too. You have an awesome build keep us posted!

nice built man
really looking slick

But why do need 1600cc injectors (maybe it's a better idea to go dual injectors)
planning that much HP with the new hx40?
can we get a video please?

386hp is at crank.
Building has taken 4 years. Complete re-painting take one year.
Reason why im going to change the injector are in last dynorun injector duty was 86% and fuelpress was about 4bar. 900cc should be enough but it is unkown why duty is so high. Why not 1600cc injectors? Its lot of easier to change only injectors than make dual injectors. With Hx40 Super over 500hp is the plan. I only have one video from dynorun, but i have to ask permission to use it. In last summer problem was fuelpressure regulator, best hp was 340hp at 0,8bar at crank and duty was 96%

yea ok but do you get away with your idle and fine tuning the injectors when they are that big?
Btw what is a hx40 super, i never heard something about a super version

yea ok it is a hybrid turbo with an other wheel
Why not go switzer then they seem to be better then the holsets if i can believe the link you sent.
Jesper aka racing use them to and i think he is happy with it.
(not that a holset is a bad turbo)

Hereīs one dyno result from last year. Problem was then fuelregulator.
FSE/Malpassi is just an Garbage. Or maybe if you attach hooks it might be good for fishing. When the engine reached 5500rpm injector duty was 96% and fuel press started to get lower. On this spring with same boost level and 7000rpm result was 386hp, increasing boost to 1,3bar only result was increased EGP.
Now the injector will be bigger. I allready ordered Hx40 Super turbo. Yes i know switzer is also a good turbo maybe better, but Holset is very popular here in finland. Switzer is hard to get in finland holset is much better available than Switzer. Quite many Superturbo Diesels have a Hx40 Holset here in finland.

verry nice.

what compression ratio do you have with your wiseco pistons? And do you still run oem camshafts?

and do you have an idea why it did'nt make more power with the increased boost? it seems a bit strange.

nice set-up,that's great.

Comp ratio is 8.5:1 and cams are stock so far :)
With 0,8bar boost there was 1,5bar EBP allready to much.
And 1,3bar boost EBP was 2,5bar WAY too much.
Turbine housing was too small to target horsepower. Maybe for 350Hp
its good but no more. New turbo will be much better. One other 2.3-16v in finland has Hx40 holset and 1,7bar boost 530hp.
