Smile Project Baby Benz, MB 190 2,3 8v - 10-06-2008, 07:37 PM

Hey there

I wan`t to present my car project, the project started in the beginning of this year ( 2008 )....

It is`nt a big project, just look and no engine project. The car is a 190 (offcourse) from 1988, with a 2,3 l and 8 valves and not a 16 valve.

A list of what I have done this far on the car:

- 16 valve plastic
- Rieger ``spoiler`` in front and ``catkiller`` to the spoiler
- Clear head, side and rear lights.
- Leather interior with electrical seats in front and it have memory function on the driver side
- 17" rims
- New paint :D
- Stereo is ``on the way``

Some pictures of the car from the beginning

Some picture when the car was at the painter...

Couse of some bad repair of a crash by one of the previous owner.... We had to change the sidefender in front and back, on the left side.

After 3-4 months, the car got finally home from the painter :)

And now the car look like this with the new rims and some of the 16v plastic (I`m still missing some clips to the plastic)

Some picture of inside the car (I have not managed, to take some pictures of innside the front doors yet...)

But I am also trying to build so the stereo look like it is a ``part of the car``

The ride hight should be lower, but i want to se how its handle the speedbumps I have around me first... So I`m sure that the front spoiler don`t get crushed ;)

I`m sorry if there is some bad language in this text

Welcome. You're car looks very nice. What front bumper/spoiler is that? Did you custom make it?

No, I have not custom make it... It is a product from Rieger called Infinity, you just use your original frontbumper from the facelift and glue on the spoiler

Here with the ``catkiller``

No, I have no engine plans for it, because I have 2 another car projects going on... (one MB 230 S124 88 and a 2-doors Chevrolet Master 38 ) And I have not enough money for engine plans because of that.... The two other cars are also a similar project like this...

I bought mine from a styling store here in Norway called Sreet-Design, it`s a original rieger part so I think it should not be hard to find somewhere near you...
