I have used quite a few oils in my 16v and high end oils have been the best. Right now I use Motul Competition and it is working really well. Redline was good as well. Do not use Mobil 1 15w/50, it makes the valvetrain of the 16v very loud.

I settled on Royal Purple which I really liked, but then again I never tried any of the other "boutique" brands - only Mobil-1.
