ok so the old bearing set 4 have holes and 4 dont with the new set all 8 have holes in them is it ok for me to still use them ?

i am in the middle of assembling my 16v please help

all is not lost there are holes in both so you cant mess it up and blame the manufacture of the bearings

No trouble, the half with a hole can also be used in the caps. It must be easier for the aftermarket to make just one bearing half.
One thing I noticed that concerns me is the size of those holes. If the hole is an orrifice meant for metering oil flow the replacements much larger hole might cause starvation elsewhere.
I am not expert on this particular engine so my post will at least serve to bring the question to the top.
