duplicate keys

Hi guys,

I need some help on this matter. I own a 190e and I have been trying to duplicate my lone ignition key and could not do so because of the shape and design of the key. I was told that I need to get a "uncut" key (if that's what its called) and have it copied.

Do you know where I can buy this "uncut key?" My search in the internet has not yielded results. All they sell are the ingition and trunk set.

I actually got a new key made a few weeks ago at the stealership. I had broken mine so they could'nt copy it but I believe they are able to and have the blanks. I gave them my reg. and i think about $25 and I had a fresh key in 2 days.

if you go to the dealer they can get you one based on your vin# as long as you bring in the title with your name on it they can order one for ya cost me $65 when my aunt lost my keys

just go on ebay and type in 190e, 190, w201, and key. It should pop up. Yeah my dealer wants $65 for a new key.
