Yeah, I know where that goes. I've replaced that rubber breather hose on my 190E, and had to remove that little vacuum hose as well. But I don't know what it does.
It's a shame I haven't got my car here, otherwise I would take a picture.
Basically, you have to remove your air filter housing, and you can see where it will go.
Or, just take a picture with the air filter housing off, and I'll point it out. The vacuum hose goes into another small rubber fitting near the LH side (looking forward).
